Company D of the 507th PIR of the 82nd Airborne Division, defend the southern entrance of the causeway. Company A of the 505th PIR, also of the 82nd Airborne Division, defend the other side of causeway at La Fiere manor.
Germans with old tanks assault the South side, take some tank losses to Bazookas, eventually drive the US from the South side.
They then cross the causeway, losing a tank to the 57mm gun on the bridge at south end of Manor. The Germans keep advancing taking casualties as they cross. They get delayed by the mined German truck used as a blockade. However they then reorganize behind the truck and charge the 57mm gun taking it out in a hard fight.
The begin to move into the open area around the Manor House and are stopped by a wall of lead from Company A.
The Germans start to fall back and the US Paras claim victory!
