Khurasan's Ursids, or gun-toting, cigar chewing bears, are the latest release from this highly innovative miniatures company. Designed for 15mm sci-fi gaming, these models would do equally well on the 28mm battlefield, standing around 25mm high from claws to ear tips.
As with most Khurasan models, they paint up beautifully: white undercoat, dark base 'under fur', two drybrush highlights, then the bag, specs, gun and cigar! All eight were painted in under four hours.
At the moment there are only four variants. Let's hope interest is strong enough to persuade Jon to bring out more. I'm looking forward to the support weapons!
Incidentally, I use those in conjunction with Stan Johansen's Blarad range: these are smaller bears, but bears all the same.
